Terms of use

Short terms, because this is a simple thing.

Last updated 2 September 2026. Reading this site makes you a reader and me a writer. It does not make either of us anything else.

01 / What this site is

Everything published here is my own opinion and my own general method, written from operating experience. It is not professional, clinical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for someone qualified who has looked at your situation and is accountable for the answer.

Nothing on this site describes a real patient, a real case, an employer or a client. The writing stays at the level of method, by choice and by rule. If a piece appears to describe your organisation, it does not. It describes a pattern that happens in many of them.

If you are about to make a clinical, legal or financial decision, take advice from a person who can see your facts and carries responsibility for the outcome. An article cannot do that job and this one is not trying to.

02 / Using the writing

Quote it, link to it, argue with it.

01

No client relationship

Reading a piece, sharing it, or writing to me does not create a client, consulting or advisory relationship, and it does not create confidentiality. Please do not send anything sensitive or privileged in a first email. If we go on to work together, that is agreed separately and in writing.

02

Copyright and quoting

The writing, structure and design here are mine. Quote from it freely: keep the extract short, name me as the source, and link back to the page you took it from. Reproducing a whole piece, or passing the writing off as the work of someone else or of a product, is not covered by that permission. Ask me and I will usually say yes.

03

Links out are not endorsements

I link to work by other people when it is worth reading. A link says the piece was useful to me. It does not say I agree with everything on that site, and I have no control over what happens to it after I link it.

04

No warranty

I write carefully and I still get things wrong. Nothing here is promised to be accurate, current or complete, and the site is not promised to be available. Use your own judgement before acting on anything you read, and accept that the risk of doing so sits with you. Tell me about an error and I will correct it.

03 / Law and contact

Indian law, and one address for everything.

These terms are governed by the law of India, and any dispute arising from the site or its content is subject to the courts there.

For permission to republish, a correction, a takedown request or anything else on this page, write to info@rolstonpaul.com. It reaches me directly and I answer within a few days.

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them.
