Newsletter
A short letter, sent only when there is something new to read.
There is no signup box on this page. I have not chosen an email provider yet, and I would rather say that plainly than put up a form that quietly does nothing. Joining takes one email. The steps are below.
01 / What the letter is
One thing only. When a new field note goes up, you get a short note with the title, a sentence on what it argues and a link. Nothing else travels with it.
No promotion. No offers, no products, no affiliate links, no course, no sponsored placement. I am not selling anything from that address and I do not intend to start.
The volume is low by design. Two or three notes in a busy week at the very most, and many weeks nothing at all. Silence means I had nothing worth an inbox, which happens often and is the correct outcome.
It is written the way the rest of the site is written. From operating experience, in the first person, with no employer, client, clinic or patient in it.
Why it looks like this
A few hundred people who actually read the work are worth more than a large list collected by a form I never thought about.
02 / Who it is for
People who have to make the system work on Monday.
Operations leaders, clinical quality leads, franchise partners, contact centre managers and the people who end up owning a process nobody else wants. If you are more interested in method than in motivation, it will suit you. If you want industry news or vendor announcements, it will not, and you should skip it with my blessing.
The argument, in a line
What the new piece claims, so you can decide in seconds whether it is your problem this month.
A direct link
Straight to the piece on this site. No landing page in between, no gate to pass.
Nothing to buy
No products, no fees, no pitch. The writing is the whole offer.
Short enough for a phone
Plain text, a few lines, readable between two meetings without opening a laptop.
03 / How to join, for now
Send me one word and I will add you by hand.
Until the proper signup is live, the list is maintained manually. Three steps.
- 01Write to info@rolstonpaul.com.
- 02Put the word subscribe in the subject line or the first line.
- 03That is it. I add you myself, usually the same week.
Your address is never shared, sold or passed to anyone, and it is used for nothing except this letter. To leave, reply with one line saying stop. No form, no survey, no argument.

The RSS feed works today.
If you already read in a feed reader, use it and skip the email entirely. The feed carries every field note the moment it is published. You hand over no address, and there is nothing for me to manage on your behalf.
